Welcome to Pip's NTV ! ☆
Hello and welcome to my messy little website where I try to organise all my OCs' lore and guide you through it as simply and nicely as I can. I'm a beginner when it comes to coding so hopefully the site will get better as time passes. You will find below a quick summary of the context, as well as a guide to helpful links, further down you will be able to click a link to the Archive that will get you to different lore dumps I will refer to as "entries". I made the website very straightforward for now, until I can learn proper CSS! Have fun :^)
Before we proceed, keep in mind this is a WIP, and my OCs and their stories are constantly evolving, so they're prone to change. Some details you read now may not be canon yet or may be altered later.
The context ! ☆
Broad-ish context that might help situate the characters and story in time and space.
I usually refer to these OCs' universe as "NTV". It is the name of the fictional american TV channel Elmer and more work for. The main story takes place around 1983 to 1986 when most characters are in their 30s, and mostly in Los Angeles, CA. I do occasionally draw events from earlier and later, but I tend to date these drawings accordingly, if you're ever confused feel absolutely free to ask for precisions! Most characters are entertainers/TV personalities, or are apart of the production process. Although it is not something I necessarily focus a lot on at the moment.
Where to start ? ☆
If you are completely unfamiliar with my characters, and/or would like to get a little bit of context individually, I'd recommand starting with the NTV folder on my Toyhouse. You can explore the profile of each character by clicking on them, they are organised in order of relevance. Most have a short description, and the most important have a whole profile coded with infos!
After that, you can wander this website's entries! You can proceed in order of upload, or chronologically within the story (I try to date each entry). If you don't feel like doing a lot of reading you can also just tap through my Instagram story highlights, they're named "NTV" and are numbered (4 of them so far). They contain sketches, some "memes", a few answers to story questions and such. Any of the lengthy text ones I try to retranscribe on this website! As a quick sum-up, you can see below images and names of the OCs I mention the most.
